Two tracks. One rigorous program.

Designed for both classically trained scholars and academically trained students of religion and philosophy.

Traditional Scholarly Track

For graduates of a classical Dars-i Niẓāmī or equivalent ʿālim/ʿālimah program with strong Arabic, prior ʿaqīdah study, and exposure to manṭiq.

Academic Track

For graduates with strong academic backgrounds in religion, philosophy, or related humanities, capable of engaging primary Arabic texts with support.

Placement Assessment

Calibrated entry

A short oral and written assessment in Arabic reading, prior ʿaqīdah study, and philosophical reasoning ensures each cohort moves at scholarly pace.

  • Functional Arabic reading ability
  • Some prior exposure to ʿaqīdah or kalām
  • Capacity for sustained scholarly writing
  • Commitment to the full three-year arc
