Two tracks. One rigorous program.
Designed for both classically trained scholars and academically trained students of religion and philosophy. Applicants commit one year at a time, each year concludes with its own credential, and continuation is decided student by student.
Traditional Scholarly Track
For those completing or near completion of an ʿĀlimiyyah, Takmīl, Dars-i Niẓāmī, or equivalent program: able to read unvowelled Arabic, with prior study of basic ʿaqīdah, prior exposure to kalām through al-ʿAqīdah al-Ṭaḥāwiyyah, Umm al-Barāhīn, or al-Iqtiṣād fī al-Iʿtiqād, and prior exposure to basic manṭiq (Isāghūjī or equivalent).
Academic Track
For applicants with graduate-level or advanced undergraduate training in philosophy, Islamic studies, religious studies, theology, or intellectual history, with reading knowledge of Arabic (or willingness to complete a preparatory review) and the ability to read dense philosophical and theological material in English.
Calibrated entry
An Arabic reading passage, a short theological concept explanation, a basic logic exercise, a brief writing sample, and a faculty interview, ensuring each cohort moves at scholarly pace.

- Willingness to commit to a full forty-week academic year
